North Bend Farmer's Market

Right now we are having "hot" days which means by late afternoon it gets pretty miserable in both my detached office and my living space.

Thursday was exceptionally warm and not a lot of wind movement. By 4pm I was facing either yard work or going to the farmer's market mostly to be outside. I hadn't been to the farmer's market in a few years so I decided to check it out.

We kept the walk pretty slow. It was really warm for Nim and the gentle leader doesn't give him a lot of panting. Once we got out of the tight crowd spaces (food) we could take it off.

The booth worth visiting was "True Treat Pet Bakery." Very nice gal running it and lots of fun selection. Nim figured out pretty quickly that her stock was all under the table.

Despite having just fixed my car air conditioner for Nim (ouch) I was totally in a spending mood. That circle thing in the bamboo dish is a take-and-bake pizza! We haven't made it yet.

I am hopefully that it will be harder for Emile to push these large bamboo bowls around the kitchen. I am a little concerned about the larger and more flat water bowl however given his love affair with water.

  1. I love those bowls. Do they make them in a green tea cup size :)

    1. I know! I was in love with them. He didn't even really NEED a new bowl and I still wanted them. The gal uses them around the holidays to make dog treat "baskets." Great idea huh?
