Learning Shows

Good morning!

We had a single day of rain yesterday and now I thankful the sun is returning. I am holding out to the bitter end for buying my pellets, but I did have to use the electric blanket last night.

I am in the final stretch of getting ready to leave town and at the same time trying to register before deadlines for Rally obedience competitions in the near future. All I have to say is that understanding the show forms and requirements is boggling stuff. I finally crashed a form and called my rally instructor. Today is a new day and it is on my list of things that must get done today.

I hope this week is going well for everyone. I have a laundry list to get done, but yesterday was heavy work day and I accomplished most goals for work already so not a bad start to the week.

Have a great day!

  1. I hope you get your forms filled out. Sometimes what seems to the creator of the form to be obvious isn't to everyone else. Love the picture of Nim...he sure has a big tongue.

    1. We totally got surprised on that hike...the weather has been weird out here and it heated up fast that morning. :)

I really think the forms make a lot of sense if you are show person. They are also still heavily formatted for print so what might make sense in a brochure doesn't translate super well online.

  2. Sounds like a lot of stuff to do before you head off, but hope it's a great trip!

And I never met a form I could fill out without finding ambiguity in it that no one else sees. Good luck getting them done!

    1. Thanks Jan! Forms are submitted and I have a lot on my schedule for October which is actually an exciting feeling.

I am starting a list (finally) towards the trip. I don't tend to worry too much about packing and prepping but there is always some stuff I want to make sure I don't forget.

  3. My cat actually slept on the bed with us last night...he usually only does that in winter! Electric blanket sounds like a good choice to me!

    1. Same with mine! I know the weather is getting cold when they are both back in the bed. They also totally know the electric blanket as well. :)

    1. I know. It is COLD at night. The cats are all thrilled it is back out however.

I am making progress. Probably a little under planned but that is actually my style anyway.
