Garden Sunday

Good Sunday evening...are you ready to start a new week tomorrow?

Today I got some bean starts from a friend for the other end of my garden:

You will notice that all four of my tomato plants are actually thriving, despite the weather:

I also got some cucumber starts (which I put around the tomatoes) and this zucchini start:

It got a little roughed up by Nim, but I have high hopes for it once it recovers.

It is hard work being Nim.

  1. It's a tough life for Nim. He always has to help with the gardening...it's his job. Hope the veggies survive.

    1. He takes his job SO seriously. And I have to laugh because he always looks offended when I yell at him for going through a garden! Or trying to pull something out. :)

Something has to make it right?!

  2. Wow, I've been offline for a bit, so how fun to check in and see such adorable dog and cat photos, owls, white slugs, hopeful plantings, etc. Sounds like you and Nim are keeping busy!!

    1. Thanks! We have been keeping busy. The garden is such a nice outlet from school work, almost more than quilting and knitting which has been a big surprise to me.
